2013 Internet E-Charity Day: Donation ceremony in Ya’an

Initiated by the Internet Society of China (ISC), the 2013 Internet E-Charity Day Donation Ceremony was held in Ya’an, Sichuan Province on September 26, 2013. Deputy Secretary-General and Director of Business Development Department of ISC, Mr. Shi Xiansheng and Ms. Ran Xiaoyan, both attended the Ceremony.
In this year, there are 120 computers and various sports goods, total value of 205,000 RMB, donated to 2 primary schools in Ya’an, Xindian Town Central Primary School and Cheling Town Central Primary School.
On the Ceremony held at the Xindian Town Central Primary School, Mr. Shi, Deputy Secretary-General of ISC, reported the development and on-going efforts of the Internet E-Charity initiatives, and expressed his high hopes of students in these two schools.
On the other hand, Principal of the Xindian Town Central Primary School, Mr. Liang Yi, expressed his thanks to ISC and all the sponsor corporations, and said that they would make full use of the multimedia classroom with computer equipped to improve their students’ basic knowledge and operation skill of computer.
Meanwhile, Deputy Secretary-General of Internet Society of Sichuan Province, Yang Shuzhang, Director of the Mingshan District Education Bureau in Ya’an City, Peng Xingzhi, and leaders from the sponsor corporations and the teachers and students from these two donates attended the Ceremony.
After the Donation Ceremony, Mr. Shi Xiansheng, Principal Liang Yi and delegations of sponsor corporations jointly uncovered the tablet of the multimedia classroom.
